Why Annfield Plain Infant School?
Our School’s Commitment
-
To develop a caring community in which concern and respect for others is fostered and the importance of good will, sensitivity and tolerance in interpersonal relationships is exemplified.
-
To recognise the needs and talents of each pupil and to facilitate the development of creative, intellectual, moral, physical and social capacity.
-
To ensure that the curriculum incorporates legislative requirements and is appropriate, flexible and relevant to each pupil.
Our Curriculum
We are delighted to announce that we have met the standard for UNICEF UK’s Rights Respecting Schools Award at Gold Level.
This means children's rights are embedded across the school and underpin every facet of our school. Our children know about their rights and the rights of all children across the world through the United Nations Conventions on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and they will use their voice to stand up for their rights and the rights of others both locally and globally.
